What I do

I spend most of my time outside of school with my family. My wife, three children, and yellow lab, keep me busy and on the go. Together we love to hike, work in our gardens, play games, and enjoy time at camp. I am an avid outdoorsmen, and enjoy spending time in central Maine where I grew up. I also enjoy watching and rooting for all the hometown New England sports teams.

I began as principal of Loranger Memorial School in 2019. I love working with the students, families, and community members of Old Orchard Beach, as well as such a talented staff. I attended the University of Maine where I earned my Bachelor of Science in secondary education, and I earned my Master’s in Educational Leadership from the University of New England. My career in education started as an 8th grade science and math teacher for one year. I then taught many different mathematics courses to students in grades nine through twelve. During my time as a classroom teacher I also coached girls and boys high school basketball, as well as boys soccer. Prior to Loranger, I was the assistant principal at Newmarket Junior/Senior High School for three years.
