What I do

Kelsey grew up in Scarborough, Maine, and currently lives there with her husband Ethan and three children, Ava, Easton, and Isaac. Her favorite thing in the world is spending time with her family, especially having movie night every Friday and going out to eat. Her other loves include her five pets (one dog, two cats, and two guinea pigs), taking family trips, sports (especially football and basketball!), and relaxing with a cup of coffee and a good book.

Kelsey began teaching at Loranger Memorial in 2023. Prior to that, she spent twelve years teaching sixth grade at Massabesic Middle School. She holds a Masters Degree in Special Education from the University of Southern Maine and a Bachelors Degree in Elementary Education from the University of Maine at Farmington. Teaching is her true passion and she loves empowering students to think and go after their dreams.

Kelsey believes strongly in teaching to the individual, building community within the classroom, and having fun while learning. Her ultimate goal is to make a positive impact in each one of her students’ lives. Kelsey loves becoming a part of her school community and considers it her second family.
