What I do

When I’m not spending time with my family, I enjoy supporting the schools, community, and students in extracurricular activities. I also work in the Old Orchard Beach Recreation Department, working summer camps and coaching soccer clinics. I am the head coach of the girl’s high school varsity soccer team and also work closely with the high school basketball and softball programs.

I started my teaching career as an Educational Technician in the Old Orchard Beach system, which has given me invaluable experience in the classroom. Since 2005, I have taught a multitude of high school level classes such as: Biology, Physical Science, Anatomy and Physiology, Forensics and Health, before settling into middle school Health and Wellness. I am excited to bring my various teachings and love of interdisciplinary learning to the students.

Born and raised in nearby Scarborough, ME, along the same sandy coastline as the beautiful Old Orchard Beach. I studied and earned my degree in Psycho-Biology at Wheaton College, in Massachusetts. While attending Wheaton I was fortunate enough to continue playing collegiate baseball.
