What I do
I coach boys’ tennis at Scarborough High School. I also work for Community Services in Scarborough during the summer. During my free time I like to spend it with my family traveling, biking, and going to the lake.
I began teaching at Loranger Memorial School in 2000 as a physical education teacher. I am also the physical education teacher for grades PreK-2 at Jameson Elementary School in Old Orchard Beach. I am excited about giving students a positive learning experience that leads to maintaining a healthy lifestyle.
Before teaching at Loranger Memorial School, I taught at Cathedral School and Presumpscot Elementary in Portland, Maine. I earned an associates degree in hotel, motel, restaurant management from Southern Maine Technical College. I worked in the hospitality industry for 9 years before entering the teaching profession. In 1999, I earned a B.S. in physical education from St. Joseph’s College in Standish, Maine.
