Mark Shevory

What I do

I spend most of my time outside of school with my wife Patty, my two high school boys Colin and Nathan, and two golden retrievers Summer and Winter. We love spending our time outside boating, fishing, walking the beach, hiking trails and traveling around Maine. I enjoy going to the beach in the summer and skiing in the winter. We love watching all of the Boston sports teams. Let’s Go!!

I began teaching at Loranger Memorial School in 2023 as a 3rd grade teacher and now I teach 6th grade math and social studies. I have been a classroom teacher for 19 years. Prior to teaching in OOB I taught in Sanford, Maine and in Worcester, MA.

I obtained a Master’s degree in Elementary Education from Lesley University and also earned a degree in Criminal Justice from Westfield State University. I love working with the small ,tight knit community in Old Orchard and all of the wonderful staff at Loranger.
