What I do

When not working as a school nurse I enjoy spending time with my family. My husband and I have two children, a son and daughter. On days off we often spend time with our extended family or friends. We are active in our community, whether it’s watching our OOB sporting events, attending events put on by our town recreation department, or our own children participating in sports. Old Orchard Beach is a special community and we feel lucky to be a part of it.

I began working as a school nurse in the district in 2015. My office is located at Loranger Memorial School where I am the school nurse for grades 3-8. The two nurses in our district also share caring for our high school students, along with our health aide.

In 2020, I was a substitute nurse, the pandemic led to my assisting the health care team on a more regular basis where I fell in love with the community and providing a healthy, safe environment for the students in our district. Prior to joining RSU 23, I worked for 12 years as an acute care cardiac nurse at Maine Medical Center. I love being a school nurse and look forward to working with the families in Old Orchard Beach to keep the students healthy and ready to learn.
