Billy Murdock

I started working at Loranger Memorial School in 2026. I earned my Bachelor’s of Science in Marine Biology from the University of North Carolina Wilmington in 2014, doing fisheries lab and field work in Maine and Connecticut after graduating.

In 2018 I started working at Ketcha Outdoors, facilitating outdoor programming in the organization’s after school and camp programs for seven years. I enjoyed leading programming in areas such as archery, adventure challenge, and environmental education. I am currently enrolled in the Education degree program at SMCC.

I live in South Portland with my partner, dog, and cat. Outside of the classroom, I enjoy running and cycling, creating art using soft pastels, and seeking out bluegrass concerts. Look out for me on the Eastern Trail!
