Sydney Beecher

This is my first year at Loranger, and I am excited to join the OOB community! I previously taught third grade for three years in Madison, Maine.

I earned my B.S. in Elementary Education in 2023, and my M.S. in Ed Leadership with a STEAM focus in 2026, both from the University of Maine at Farmington. My experiences have shaped the way I approach teaching and have helped me understand the importance of creating a classroom where students feel supported, valued, and excited to learn.

I have a particular passion for science and hands-on learning. I love creating opportunities for students to ask questions, investigate, build, and discover new ideas. I believe that learning should include authentic opportunities for students to explore the world around them. Students should feel comfortable being curious, making mistakes, and building confidence in themselves as learners.
