What I do

I adore traveling, meeting new people, learning new things, and trying new foods. I love exploring the outdoors and appreciate the amazing scenery that surrounds us in Southern Maine. I love latin dance as well as yoga. In addition I am occupied by fixing up my little “hobbit” house. I am excited to continue giving back to the community through several community and volunteer pursuits.

I began teaching French at Loranger Memorial School and Old Orchard Beach High School in 2023. I am thrilled to join a community that has such strong support and connection to French. I attended the University of Maine where I earned my Bachelor’s in French and Secondary Education.

I began my teaching career in Maine but have taught in Mississippi, Japan. I completed my Master’s in International Education and Intercultural Relations at Lesley University. I have taught a variety of subjects but French has always had my heart. I am very lucky to return not only to classroom but to teaching a subject that I think enriches students understanding of the world and themselves, in addition to new vocabulary and grammar.
