What I do
I am a resident of the Old Orchard Beach community where I live with my two daughters and my husband Rob. Much of my free time is spent on the sidelines of a field or court watching the many sporting events of my daughters.
I began teaching as a special education teacher at Loranger Memorial School in 2018. In that time, I helped to create the Waves program. The Waves program provides social, emotional, and academic learning opportunities that meet the unique needs of its students; promoting growth, development, and proficiency of skills that will prepare them to become productive citizens of our community.
Prior to joining the LMS staff, I graduated from the University of Maine at Augusta with a degree in early childhood education. I worked in the child care field for 10 years while my children were young. In 2015 I graduated from the University of Southern Maine, beginning my career as a teacher. After graduation she taught at the Eslie J. Parquette School at Sweetser for 3 years.
