What I do

Mr. Foster spends most of his time outside of school with his family. His wife and two children keep him busy and on the go. He is an avid outdoorsmen, and enjoys spending time in central Maine where he grew up. He also enjoys watching and rooting for all the hometown New England sports teams.

This is Mr. Foster’s first year as principal at Loranger Memorial School. He is thrilled to be working with the students, families, and community members of Old Orchard Beach, as well as such a talented staff. Working in education is one of his passions and he is eager to be bringing his enthusiasm to Old Orchard Beach.

Prior to working at Loranger Mr. Foster was an 8th grade science and math teacher for one year. He then taught many different mathematics courses to students in grades nine through twelve. During his time as a classroom teacher he also coached girls and boys high school basketball, as well as boys soccer. He most recently was the assistant principal at Newmarket Junior/Senior High School for three years. He attended the University of Maine where he earned his Bachelor of Science in secondary education, and he earned his master’s in educational leadership for the University of New England.
