What I do

I love playing sports and being outdoors. In my free time I enjoy hiking, playing tennis, and going to the beach. I also like to play guitar and occasionally watch Netflix. Right now I am spending most of my free time exploring Maine and getting used to the area.

I grew up in East Longmeadow, Massachusetts, a small town next to Springfield. I attended the public school system and graduated from East Longmeadow High School. After high school, I attended Westfield State University where I received my Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education. I double majored in liberal studies and have a math minor as well. While at school, I played on the varsity soccer team, sang in an acapella group, and worked as an RA.

After completing my student teaching in a 2nd grade class, I started my teaching career as a long term substitute in a 1st grade class in East Longmeadow. I then became a 3rd grade teacher in Springfield for the 2017-2018 school year. I started here at Loranger teaching 4th grade in 2018-2019. I am excited to continue teaching 4th grade in a such a great school community!
